Education

We have teamed up on an education project with DOC and Project Janszoon to create three self learning education boxes based both online and at Anchorage, Bark Bay and Marahau Outdoor Education Center. The activities focus on educating students (and teachers) about the cultural and natural history of the Abel Tasman. There is information on observing the species that you can find at each location, as well as activities for night-time, rainy days and before and after your trip. Some activities are appropriate for all ages and others more suitable for particular age groups. Included in the kit on site is all the equipment you need to carry out the activities.

How to access these education kits can be found here - https://www.doc.govt.nz/abel-tasman-education-programmes
